A few pix of the D8 and the Pony. Take note of the bird's nest in the air filter and torn Magnito gasket. Just two more high quality parts to go with the missing fuel filter from the sellers and their agent: AW Equipment of Pennsylvania. The agent told me the D8 sat for a couple years, and the fuel value to the Pony (starter) motor was no longer working. So, they installed a new one with a new hose. All fuel devices in the world use fuel filters, but to either save two-dollars or from shear stupidity, they did not install a fuel filter on the new line. Next, inorder to get it running, they needed a new Magnito (old style distributor). Both rear mounting slots were broken off (losing its water seal), and the coil burned out shortly after delivery. The sale was As-Is under the criteria IT-WORKED. Employing Gross Negligence to make it work does not satisfy delivery of a working unit. Use Caution. |
